Proud Winners of the Made in Bury Business Awards 2020

Here at MCR Gas we are proud to announce that we are the winners of the “Made in Bury Business Awards 2020”. This award has celebrated local business successes and outstanding achievements  for the past eight years. The awards feature 20 business categories that cover all professional business sectors. We were presented the award for ‘Best in Class Start-up Business” during the annual awards ceremony in November.

Working Through Coronavirus

Throughout 2020 we were presented with many challenges due to the national lockdown and new Coronavirus restrictions. With no blueprint on how to manage these kinds of issues, we had to team together to work out how we could continue to provide outstanding service to our customers. We wanted to do what we could to help those in need during this difficult time and made the decision to offer free servicing to all National Health Service staff experiencing boiler issues during the lockdown.  To further show our support for the community, we worked alongside other tradespeople from across the city to help transform the Gmex Centre in Manchester into a crisis NHS Nightingale hospital in just seven days. MCR Gas ran new gas mains into the building and installed large commercial burners in the hospital. This new hospital is one of the key health centres providing medical care during the pandemic.

We are a family run business with over 35 years of experience, so to be recognised for our achievements was a great privilege. We work locally in the Bury and Greater Manchester area specialising in heating and plumbing for both commercial and domestic properties. We have worked hard to ensure that all of our engineers are Gas Safe Registered and trained to the highest standards to be able to provide excellent customer service. We’re striving to make even more achievements and to continue to provide our customers with the best quality service and products throughout 2021.
